It doesn't really matter what nation you pick, just stay clear of Smålands. I am a member of Lunds nation, but I haven't been there since I ensigned. I don't think it's actually possible to be politically involved at a nation - the nations have to be politically neutral to qualify for membership in Akademiska Föreningen.
