The 3090-600J included six processors (about 25 MIPS each), six vector processors, 64 channel (input/output) processors, 512 megabytes of main memory, one gigabyte of expanded memory, and about 200 gigabytes of Modern supercomputers like CRAY X-MP and IBM 3090 VF achieve their high computing speed by using both vector and parallel hardware.
