Uppsala International Summer Session is a non-profit foundation that offers annual summer courses in the Swedish language, culture, history, and society for two weeks, three weeks, six weeks, and nine weeks. Since 1963, we have received thousands of students. They come from different backgrounds but, after completing their studies at UISS, they all have one thing in common: increased knowledge of the Swedish language and a deeper understanding of the Swedish culture and history.
